Pasar Triwindu (Windujenar Antique Market)
Solo's antique market beside the Mangkunegaran Palace, with old curios, masks, statues and household antiques in a wooden hall dating from 1945.
Pasar Triwindu, also called Pasar Windujenar, is Solo's antique and curio market on Jalan Diponegoro, close to the Mangkunegaran Palace. Stalls fill a wooden building that has stood since 1945. The first floor has small items, while the second floor holds larger pieces such as old furniture, bicycles and tools. Expect masks, statues and other Javanese heritage objects. Bargaining is normal and barter is accepted at some stalls. It is open daily from about 9am to 4pm, so it is a daytime stop rather than a night market.
