Malaysia's night markets, called pasar malam, rotate through neighbourhoods on different nights of the week, while hawker streets cook every evening. This guide covers the best of both, from Kuala Lumpur to Penang, Malacca and Borneo, and links to every listing in our Malaysia Night Markets collection.
Days matter here: a pasar malam that is huge on Wednesday may not exist on Thursday. Each listing gives the usual schedule, but confirm before you go.
