Heiwa-dori is a covered arcade that branches off Kokusai-dori in Naha and links with Ichiba Hondori and the Makishi market area. Locals call it a maze arcade because of its twisting side lanes. Shops near Kokusai-dori cater to visitors, and the farther you walk in, the more it feels like a neighbourhood street, with Okinawan sweets, snack shops, small eateries and everyday goods.
