Namche Bazaar is the main Sherpa town on the trek towards Everest, and its weekly market is held on Saturday mornings in the centre of town. Wikipedia mentions the Saturday morning market but gives no hours or a list of goods, and I couldn't confirm what is sold from a second source, so treat this as a day and place to turn up rather than a guaranteed shopping list.

Trekkers usually pass through Namche while acclimatising, so a Saturday stop lets you see the town at its busiest. The town also has a separate, mainly clothing-and-goods Tibetan market. The cover photo shows market stalls in Namche Bazaar and is not specifically of the Saturday market (illustrative). Carry cash, as cash machines are not reliable at altitude.
