Sadarghat is the Buriganga river terminal in Old Dhaka. Vendors sell tea and snacks from floating boats and on the launch platform, including biscuits and chanachur, plus seasonal fruit such as pineapples, paan and small goods. Nearby Badamtoli is described as Dhaka's biggest wholesale spot for seasonal fruit.
Sellers at the terminal work from late afternoon until night, and business picks up on holidays and at the end of the week, when homebound passengers arrive.
