Clock Tower of Sardar Market in Jodhpur

Sardar Market surrounds the Ghanta Ghar clock tower in the commercial centre of Jodhpur, near Mehrangarh Fort and on Nai Sarak. The tower was built in the 19th century by Maharaja Sardar Singh and remains a meeting point for locals and visitors.

Stalls around it sell handicrafts, textiles and spices. Entry is free and the area is open to the public during the day, though visitors cannot climb the tower. Bargaining is common, and October to March is the cooler time to go. Check opening times before you visit.
