Sarojini Nagar is one of Delhi's best-known bargain markets. Stalls sell trendy clothing, footwear and accessories at low prices, and two long lanes known as the Export Gallis carry export-surplus pieces. Export-surplus shops also sell leather shoes and bags. Homeware such as mugs and plates is sold at the rear corner, and street food stalls sit near the entrance.
A 2020s shopping guide lists it as open 9 AM to 10 PM and closed on Mondays. Weekday afternoons are quietest and weekends are very crowded. Bargain firmly, since opening prices can be about three times the final price. Carry cash and check garments for defects. The nearest metro stations are Sarojini Nagar (Pink Line) and Dilli Haat INA.
