Sugamo Jizo-dori Shopping Street

An 800 m shopping street leading to Kogan-ji, home of the Togenuki Jizo statue, and nicknamed the Harajuku for grandmothers. It has a famous daifuku shop and red-underwear stores, and a fair on the 4th, 14th and 24th of each month. Most shops close around 18:00; some izakaya stay open to about midnight.
