Baguio City Public Market
The summer capital's big hillside market for highland vegetables, strawberries, peanut brittle and pasalubong.
The Baguio City Public Market on Magsaysay Avenue is where the city's highland produce, meat and local products come together under one roof. Look for fresh strawberries, lettuce and carrots from nearby Benguet farms, plus peanut brittle and other pasalubong to take home.
It is listed as open daily from about 5:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and mornings are the liveliest. Handicrafts and souvenirs are sold alongside the food stalls.
After dark, the separate Baguio Night Market on Harrison Road takes over for street food and clothing, so the two pair well in one day.
